Are You A Real Estate Agent Or Poorly Paid Chauffeur & Tour Guide?

Bob's Realty Tours

Do your clients get a free ride and tour of the subdivision in your sedan on

Sunday while their children are screaming and rubbing their chocolate-stained hands

on the upholstery of the back seat of your car ?

Do you find yourself handing out brochures about lead based paint, buyer agency,

inspections, disclosures, home warranties and other stuff as though you were

dispensing tourist maps at a travel agency ?

Do customers and clients hang around your office wasting your time scarfing down the free pizza and bottled water while at the same time making obvious material misrepresentations about their qualifications to buy ?

Are you still giving up half of your earnings to a broker who sits on his ass all

day and does nothing ?

Well, it sounds like you're nothing more than a

commission-paid, independently

contracted, licensed tour guide.

One site reports that the average salary for a salesperson or broker affiliate

was about 39 thousand bucks.

The site reviews the salaries of agents.

There can be some bad customers, but I never really had any of these issues myself. Of course when I moved from residential to commercial my customers knew their stuff and didn't play around either.

that reminds me. I have my commercial A/B CA drivers license with passenger endorsemnt. Most clients these days just want to meet you at the property so I don't seem to drive them around like I used to..

When someone walks into your office wanting to get financing to purchase a 300k home, and they work at Mr.T's car wash for $5.50 an hour and have no established credit record, that feel starts to tingle, doesn't it, Hannah ? It gets worse when it happens several times each week.
