I was thinking of this today( again). Realtors have such a bad reputation ( in general)... I understand why. It is sad, that is is not few, but....many choose these rotten ways: only money rules~ nothing and no one else matters.

Greed is in part the run-off condition of great fiancial losses, Inna. It's a tragic psychological anomaly driving one to attempt to aquire something for nothing, the desperate need for some to recover losses and, for the worst of the lot, the need to remorselessly ruin the lives of others.

Avoid the appearance of wrong - even of it is on the level. That should be rule one in this business!

David, unfortunately for some I think there is a fine line between knowing what is and isn't mortgage fraud.  Sure for others the distinction is clear and choose to cross the iine for "greed"...some just don't know any better!

As example, Nick, as long as the mistress doesn't get cash back from her boyfriend, who just happens to be her buyer's agent, at closing, the boyfriend aka agent would lower the risk of being accused of having an undisclosed interest in the property.

Just a worst case scenario for perusal. :-)
