Should I get out of the business, pursue a career in Hollywood and give up the day job ?
Here's an example for your dining and dancing pleasure.
Just joshin', as you probably know by now, but things have gotten so bad nationally that it seems like the box office is the only place flourishing, booming and thriving these days. Gold is volatile, like stocks. The Fed's predicting recession again, real estate crimes are pandemic, new construction permits are at historical lows, and the secondary mortgage market's unhinged. Not to worry, however. I'm in the business for life. But I'll be sure to leave a shoelace in front of Grauman's and a fingerprint on the doorknob when on the Boulevard, along with all the other celluloid heroes.
Lights, Camera, Action.....here I come .......Mr.DeMille !

Hello David, Hooray For Hollywood but dont give up on Real Estate. Things will improve.
I'm sure we have all pondered this question from time to time, we have to remember why we got into the business this will help pull us thru.
People will always need a place to live. It's simply a market of the times so figure out what will make it work for you.I love movies and that's where I go to escape when I have had enough
Naw, I'd go for it! I hear it's easy to make it in Hollywood. Load up your truck and move to Beverly... Hills that is.
Krista, Pat, Anon, Bob and Bonnie, thanks for the nice thoughts. If I can get a toe print in front of Grauman's I'll know I've arrived.
I think it's a really safe move if we all just stay were we know were good at, and Real Estate is were it's at. LOL thanks for the post David have a great day.
Hi David, Pretty creative clip. Follow your heart but keep a hand in the biz ! Have a terrific weekend - whereever you end up.
Mike, Bill, Tinsel Town can wait. I dig the RE biz more than show biz. Nice to hear from you.
David - I think you would be surprised at how difficult it could be to make it in LA too! Hang in there, with the rest of us, and find the bright spots!
I'm here for the long haul, Carol. My tongue-in-cheek shenanigans are gonna get me in trouble one day if I get a call from the William Morris Agency.
David, That looks like it took some creative work - to come up with that variety of screen changes. But I missed the dancing, somehow.
Dancing is optional, Steve. I sat the dance part out in my bathrobe.
