Real Estate Practice : Lesson 443

                                                      #443

When we talk about dual agency we're usually talking about a form of agency which is considered legal as long as the agent receives the same amount of money and compensation from both of the principals involved in the agency agreement.

Is this considered to be true or false ?

Remember to take your time. The solution is posted below the wildlife photo.

A. False

Dual agency is legal in most every state as long as both the buyer and the seller are told that the agent is representing boith of them, and both the buyer and the seller have given their written consent to dual agency.

The form of compensation is not a concern of the legality of dual agency, although compensation might create some questions at closing.
